How to convert WebP to PDF
- Tap Choose WebP images, drop files on the box, or paste a screenshot with Ctrl/⌘+V. JPG, PNG, GIF and AVIF can go in the same PDF.
- Put the pages in order: drag the cards, use the ← → buttons on a phone, or press Sort A→Z for numbered files like page-1.webp, page-2.webp.
- Choose Page size (A4, US Letter or Same as image), Orientation (Auto turns each page to match its image) and Margin. The cards show exactly how each page will look.
- Name the file and press Create PDF. It downloads straight away; Download again is there if you need a second copy.
What happens to a WebP image inside a PDF
PDF has no WebP support of its own, so every converter has to decode the WebP and store the picture in a form PDF readers understand. This page draws each image onto a canvas in your browser and saves it as a JPEG stream (the DCT filter), which every PDF reader since Acrobat 1.0 opens — Preview, Edge, Chrome, Adobe Reader, phones and printers alike. Transparent areas of a WebP become white, the colour of the page. On A4 or Letter the image is scaled to fit inside the margins and centred, keeping its proportions; Auto orientation turns landscape pictures onto landscape pages. Same as image makes each page the size of its picture at 96 pixels per inch, so screenshots and comics stay edge to edge. Image quality controls the file size: Balanced keeps up to 2480 pixels on the long side, which is A4 at 300 dpi and sharp in print; Original keeps every pixel; Smaller is for email attachments.
Which settings to use
| You're making | Page size | Margin | Image quality |
|---|---|---|---|
| A document to print or submit (receipts, forms, notes) | A4 or US Letter | Small | Balanced |
| A photo album or portfolio | A4, Auto orientation | Large | Original |
| Screenshots, comics or slides that should fill the page | Same as image | None | Balanced |
| An email attachment under a few MB | A4 or Letter | Small | Smaller |
A4 is 210 × 297 mm (595 × 842 points) and is the default outside the US and Canada; US Letter is 8.5 × 11 in (612 × 792 points). The Small margin is 10 mm and the Large margin 20 mm on every side.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert WebP to PDF for free?
Open your WebP files on this page, put them in order, choose the page size and margins, and press Create PDF. It's free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no page limit.
Can I combine multiple WebP images into one PDF?
Yes. Add as many images as you like — each becomes one page of the same PDF, in the order shown on the cards. Drag them or use the arrow buttons to reorder, and Sort A→Z for numbered files.
Are my WebP files uploaded?
No. The images are decoded and the PDF is written by JavaScript in your browser, so the files stay on your device. The page works offline once it has loaded.
Will the PDF lose quality?
With Original every pixel of the WebP is kept and saved at JPEG quality 92, which looks the same as the original. Balanced keeps up to 2480 px on the long side — A4 at 300 dpi — which is plenty for printing. Smaller trades some sharpness for size.
What happens to transparent WebP images?
Transparent areas become white, the colour of the PDF page, so logos and cut-outs print cleanly instead of turning black.
Can I use A4 or US Letter pages?
Yes. Pick A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) and the image is scaled to fit inside the margins, centred. Choose Same as image for pages that match each picture exactly.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Choose images from Photos or Files, reorder them with the ← → buttons, and the PDF saves to Files or Downloads. It works in Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox on any recent phone or computer.
Can I add JPG or PNG images to the same PDF?
Yes. WebP, JPG, PNG, GIF and AVIF can be mixed in one PDF. HEIC photos from an iPhone should be converted to JPG first.
